The Bose L1 sound system is a compact highly portable, yet extremely flexible. The Bose L1 Compact also offers crisp, clean and precise sound of Bose. I bought two L1 compact last year and are extremely pleased with my purchase. I've been an amateur musician for almost 25 years and have tons of experience with many PA systems. I'm at least five separate systems over the years has included equipment from European arrest warrant, Tascam, Mackie, Hafler, JBL and Electro Voice. I have tosay that the Bose L1 is my favorite compact PA system is one that I have ever owned.

In my youth, and twenty years I played in several bands rock 'n' roll and always owned my PA system for use with the bands that I played. I was (and still are for that matter) in each band and the singer has discovered that the PA system was very important to my performance. Most of the systems I had at that time in possession of extremely powerful and should be so strengthened,my voice above the guitars and drums at full volume. In my mid to late twenties I started to play mostly acoustic music (like me on guitar with my hand). I also started to enter the karaoke and DJ gigs to make ends meet. This continued into my thirties and I found myself with the music my daughter 12 years old last year. The system I had used for 6 years before a more compact Electro-Voice network and submarines, including a rack full of equipment and digitized TascamBoard, Hafler power amp, a DBX DRIVERACK PA, racks and effects of different computers. While it was a bit 'more compact, this system was still quite cumbersome to fill my small SUV to the brim and test my back every time I moved the system performance. It was time for a change. He had come to the point that I actually fear shows, karaoke and the like, because I just flat out did not want to move my equipment. Finally, I recommend the Bose L1Compact. I think it's the most flexible, best sounding, compact PA system on the market. A word of warning, I should not use this system with a real rock 'n' roll. I tried it and if you are an expert, I am a quiet drummer, this system is not suitable for this application. This system is perfect for acoustic performance, the use of DJ and Karaoke use.
